For two decades, Tom Blue has pioneered strategies to accelerate the adoption of emerging science and innovation into whole person care and personal health management. He has a track record of launching successful clinical and healthcare ventures, including LeadHealth (acquired by Empowered Education, 2019), which introduced functional medicine to employer health plans; LivingMatrix (acquired by Nestlé Health Science, 2019), the leading patient data management system in functional medicine; and Liberty Direct (acquired by Liberty Healthshare, 2016), the first ACA-exempt, DPC-integrated medical cost-sharing platform.

Tom is a founding partner of OvationLab and SVP of Healthcare at AndHealth, a virtual healthcare company focused on providing universally accessible care for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases and other high-cost chronic conditions. He is on the advisory boards of companies including Heads Up Health, Radicle Science, Vibrant Practice, Tailored Script, and Roundtable Healthcare Partners.

His recent areas of focus are the clinical applications of AI, advancing the market potential for personalized nutritional supplements, and supporting innovative companies in the field of whole person care to prepare for high-value exit event.

Tom previously held leadership roles at The Institute for Functional Medicine and as Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer for the American Academy of Private Physicians, the trade association for concierge and direct primary care physicians.
