Tom serves as an advisor and/or board member for a number of digital health and other disruptive healthcare companies including: Heads Up Health, Nudge, Radicle Science, Resonea, ORDRS, Better Nutrition Program, and Tailored Script.
He a member of the Leadership Council for the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute; and he served for nearly ten years, as both the Director of Industry Strategy for The Institute for Functional Medicine and the Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer of the American Academy of Private Physicians, the national professional association for concierge and direct primary care (DPC) physicians.
Andie Crosby

Andie Crosby has over 30 years’ marketing and business development experience working with iconic brands such as Nike, Apple, Gap, Procter & Gamble and magazines such as Rolling Stone, Glamour, and Vanity Fair. In 2010, her personal interest in health and wellness converged with an opportunity to build and lead the first marketing team at The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She was the driving force behind a 13x increase in the number of clinicians trained by IFM and a resulting surge in awareness and demand for functional medicine amongst both patients and practitioners. Through OvationLab’s executive in residence program, Andie currently serves as President for our client, Calroy Health Sciences.
Andie has served on the Advisory Board for Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA) and Health and Wellness Business Association (HAWBA).
Laurie Hofmann MPH

Laurie Hofmann, partner at Ovation Lab and co-founder of VirtualPractices is a seasoned executive, board chair, strategic advisor, and mentor. Laurie is the immediate past CEO and board chair for The Institute for Functional Medicine where she led the expansion and scaling of functional medicine education and clinical training. Laurie’s 30-year track record of accomplishments in health and wellness, functional medicine, public health, and personalized nutrition have served to advance and expand awareness, reach, and adoption of functional medicine, personalized nutrition and patient-centered care globally. Laurie serves on numerous advisory boards and as a strategic advisor and leadership consultant for businesses and organizations seeking to enter or expand their reach into the health care practitioner channel.
Chris D’Adamo, Ph.D.

Dr. Chris D’Adamo is an epidemiologist with expertise in the relationship between modifiable lifestyle factors and human health across the lifespan. Dr. D’Adamo received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
Dr. D’Adamo served as the Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the first academic-based integrative medicine center in the United States with an over 30-year history that has collectively published over 1,000 peer-reviewed scientific papers and received over $50 million of competitive research funding while offering an expansive medical professional education program and providing integrative clinical care.
Dr. D’Adamo has led many clinical trials and observational studies as Principal Investigator. These studies have included clinical trials evaluating the efficacy of dietary supplements and other natural products, interventional devices aimed at optimizing health and performance, community-based nutrition, physical activity, and stress management interventions, exercise interventions for chronic disease, health coaching to support lifestyle modifications, observational studies evaluating the relationship between micronutrients, environmental toxicants, and human health, cutting-edge studies in the burgeoning field of nutritional genetics, and literature reviews of a wide variety lifestyle-related interventions.
Dr. D’Adamo has authored over 90 publications in peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals including Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Nutrition Research, American Journal of Health Promotion, Journal of Nutrition, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, Nutrients, Journal of Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics, Journal of Nutrition, Aging, and Health, Journal of the American College of Nutrition, Food Quality and Preference, American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, Surgery, Journal of Surgical Research, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, and BMJ Open among many others.
Dr. D’Adamo has also contributed medical textbook chapters to the 6th, 7th, and 8th, and 9th editions of Rheumatology, the 5th and 6th editions of Practical Management of Pain, and gives invited lectures across the world on nutrition, dietary supplementation, physical activity, stress management, and other topics in integrative, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
Alongside these academic avenues, Dr. D’Adamo is a Senior Research Advisor to the Institute for Functional Medicine and serves on the scientific advisory boards of several industry leaders in nutrition and dietary supplements. He has also provided expert testimony in medical cases and is frequently sought for media commentary.
